Join us on iNaturalist and start your tree surveys today. Africa’s biodiversity needs more eyes, more voices, and more local knowledge. By photographing and recording the trees around you, you help build the continent’s first long‑term species evidence base—data that will directly support conservation planning, climate resilience, and national biodiversity accounts. Your observations, no matter how small, strengthen the scientific record. Your participation helps fill critical data gaps. Your contribution becomes part of Africa’s biodiversity legacy. Full Book Release - September 2026

"Ultimately, PEDs will succeed not because of their technology, but because of their ability to anchor wider social, economic, and ecological transitions. They are catalysts, not endpoints. Their true value lies in how they help societies imagine and build energy futures that are not only low‑carbon, but also fair, inclusive, and resilient."
